Dennis Scherer is an artist from Clarence Center, New York. He has been a trained sheet metal Journeyman since the 1970’s.

He explored the art of copper enameling in the 1990’s and this process got his artistic juices flowing.

Dennis’s work with copper and galvanized sheet metal, lead him down a creative road; first with enameling on copper, then acrylic painting on galvanized metal and then his technique of acid treated copper.

His experimentation and creativity have enabled him to show and sell his work in the Western New York area for the last few years.

His work can be seen at local retail art stores and galleries in upstate New York.

Dennis is challenged every day to design and create new and exciting pieces of unique art.
